When I download updates to my computer, the software is zipped. How do I unzip the files with WindowsXP?

WinZip is built into Windows XP. Just double click on the file and it should open as a folder. Once in, look on the upper right hand side and you will see an UnZip option. From there it's just Browsing and Extracting.

right click , then select "exetract this files"
